Kenneth Odom appeals the trial courts order denying his motion for post-conviction relief. The trial court summarily denied Odoms motion as to six of the grounds he raised and denied his motion as to the seventh ground following an evidentiary hearing. Odoms attorney filed a brief pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967), finding no error in the trial courts summary denial. A thorough review of the record leads this court to conclude that the trial court erred in denying grounds four and five of Odoms motion without an evidentiary hearing. Therefore, we reverse and remand on those grounds. We affirm the trial courts order in all other respects.
